The Yellow Gold of Kawah Ijen

The Yellow Gold of Kawah Ijen is a documentary about the underreported world of sulphur mining in Eastern Java. This was a solo documentary project completed in some of the harshest and most challenging conditions i have encountered.

2019 Showreel

2019 has been a very interesting year to be working in the fast paced media world. This year I’ve been fortunate enough to cover dozens of Brexit and political stories across Europe as well as events in the UK, Hong Kong, Israel and the West Bank. In 2019 i also produced a completely self-funded independent documentary about human exploitation in Indonesia within the sulphur mining industry.

Stranded in Serbia

Throughout 2017-2018 I lived and worked in Serbia documenting the plights of refugees and migrants as they made their way through the Balkans towards Europe. This edit is a compilation of images from the months of work on the ground documenting the unfolding situation.
